Hi, I'm Rachel.
I help arts and cultural organizations build stronger programs, smarter systems, and more sustainable organizations.
For more than a decade, I've worked alongside museums, theaters, nonprofits, and educators to create meaningful experiences for communities while strengthening the people and systems behind the scenes.
Whether I'm facilitating a strategic planning process, redesigning program operations, supporting board leadership, or developing arts education initiatives, my goal is always the same: helping organizations do their best work.
I didn't set out to become a consultant.
I started my career in arts education because I believed creative experiences could change lives. Over the years, I discovered I was just as passionate about building the systems that make those experiences possible.
I've worn a lot of hats—program manager, education manager, board president, treasurer, event producer, facilitator—and each role taught me something different about what helps organizations thrive.
I've managed multi-site programs, supervised teaching artist teams, built community partnerships, led strategic planning efforts, developed organizational systems, managed budgets, and served in nonprofit leadership roles at both the regional and national levels.
Those experiences shaped the way I approach every project: collaboratively, thoughtfully, and with an eye toward practical solutions that last.
